Mediation

After the collection of a Call Detail Record (CDR), it needs to be converted into a format that is
understood by the telecom billing system.

This intermediary process forms an integral part of telecom billing, and is known as meditation. At Telgoo5, we understand the significance of CDR mediation process and do it carefully.

Some important functions performed by Telgoo5 as part of CDR meditation are:

  • Collection of CDRs from different telecom equipment

  • Validation of CDRs

  • Removal of CDRs that are not related with billing

  • Unification of CDRs received via different telecom resources

  • Combining different incomplete CDRs that are linked to the same call

  • Format conversion and CDR normalization

Once the meditation of CDRs is done, they are sent to the rating engine for calculation of charges.
